Metal is dangerous

Don't let people tell you that metal is innocent music. There is an unbelievably dark and demonic power lurkin in that kind of music that gives the listener a negative and hatefull attitude that can even lead to murder, suïcide, violence and destruction. If I see photographs of metalbands or hardcore groups they look very angry and vicious as if they want to beat you up or sacrifice you to satan. If somebody puts on a metalrecord I allways get an unpleasant and depressed feeling as if somebody is being buried or that you being tortured in the darkest pitts of hell. It gives me a great urge to smash the cd to pieces. Metal is the most depressing music that exists. I can remember a couple of years ago somebody did an enquiry to what music was the most depressing it doesn't come as surprise that metal was the most depressing music and that metal was the style that had the most suïcides with the people who listened to it. Completely understandable because when you hear metal it just makes you wan't to commit suïcide. If you see metalheads they all seem to have a blank and soulles expression in their face as if they are possessed by some kind of demon. They are just like zombies.

There is a homicidal feel to metal. You notice it in America with all those incidents where students go on a killing spree and kill all the other students that they are nearly allways metalheads. That's not surprising because metalbands can only sing about murder and destruction and have a constantly negative and evil attitude about them. Offcourse not all metalfans would do such awfull things but I do know had those guys who done all those killings not listened to metal they wouldn't have done those horrible deeds. If they would have listened to hardrock instead of metal or gothic they would have had a lot more positive attitude to life. Bands like Accept, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Scorpions and Journey have a positive and enjoyable attitude about them and they don't have a hatefull or destructive feel about them. Look at photo's of AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Status Quo or Motörhead all happy and funny looking guys. Nobody that listened to those bands would even think of shooting anybody. Unfortunately all those triggerhappy maniacs only listen to bands like Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Cradle Of Filfth, Nevermore, Slipknot or The Haunted. Typical example is the murder of the gitarist of Pantera. Ofcourse it's a great tragedy but a band like Pantera because of their hatefull and morbid lyrics they do atract fools like that. The guy that did the shooting even did it because he was fan of the band. But what do you expect with such negative and unpleasant music.

The worst ofcourse are all those retarded blackmetal bands. All the murders and burnt down churches annoy me enourmously. It's unbelievable that people actually give this music any attention. They should burn down all those blackmetal bands instead of all those churches then we would all be a lot better of. What also frustrates me a lot are all those nazi's in the metalscene. Especially in the (ofcourse) blackmetal you get that a lot. Nazism and everything that goes along with it has no place in heavy metal just like all the paganistic bullshit that goes along with it. But this negative attitude that you get in metal comes from punk just like metal itself. Punk is a real breeding ground for hatefull, nihilistic and closeminded attitudes. Its when thrash come along (which is influenced by punk and actually the first genuine metal music) that you started getting dark and depressing influences in heavy rock. You notice it with Venom the first HM band to be influenced by punk that they had a satanic and demonic attitude something that was very unusual in the hardrock scene of that period. Bon Jovi was absoluetly right when he said that Venom gave heavy metal a bad name. This ofcourse doesn't mean that people shouldn't be allowed to listen to metal that's something entirely up to themselfs. It is a good thing to show people that metal is very depressing and evil music and really does influence your mood very much. I see it as my duty to inform metalfans that their is more positive music out there and if you listen to hardrock it will make you feel a lot better. If you gotten used to the positive power of hardrock you don't want to listen to that metalcrap anymore.

Laat je niet ompraten door mensen die zeggen dat metal onschuldige muziek is. Er zit in die muziek een ongelovelijke duistere en kwaadaardige kracht die beluisteraars een negatieve en haatdragende houding geeft en zelfs aanzet tot moord, zelfmoord, geweld en vernieling. Als ik veel bandsfoto's zie van metalbands en hardcore groepen zie je ook dat die bands op zo'n boosaardige en hatelijke manier kijken alsof ze willen overkomen alsof ze je in elkaar willen slaan of opofferren aan satan. Heb je ook niet als iemand een metalplaat aanzet dat je meteen een depressieve en ongemakkelijke gevoel krijgt alsof er iemand begraven gaat worden of dat je in de binnenste van de hel door allemaal demonen gefolterd wordt. Ik krijg ook de behoefte om zo'n cd helemaal aan stukken te smijten. Metal is ook de meest depressieve muziek die er is. Ik kan me nog herinneren dat er een tijdje terug iemand een onderzoek had gedaan welke muziekstijl mensen het meest depressief maakten. Het mag geen verassing zijn dat uit het onderzoek bleek dat metal de meest depressieve muziekstijl was en dat er bij metal de meeste zelfmoorden voorkomen. Totaal terecht want je krijgt ook meteen zelfmoordneigingen als je die muziek hoort. Dat zie je ook als je al die metalheads ziet lopen ze hebben allemaal zo'n lege en totaal zieloze uitdrukking op hun gelaat alsof ze allemaal door een of andere geest bezeten zijn. Het zijn net zombies.

Metal heeft iets moordlustig over zich. Je ziet ook bij al die incidenten in Amerika waarbij scholieren hun medestudenten overhoop knallen dat bijna altijd metalheads zijn. Dat is logisch als al die metalbands alleen maar kunnen zingen over moord en vernietiging en constant een negatieve en duistere gevoel uitstralen. Natuurlijk, niet alle metalaanhagers zullen dat soort erge dingen doen maar ik weet wel dat als die gasten die die schietpartijen gedaan hadden niet naar metal hadden geluisterd, ze niet tot hun daad overgegaan zouden zijn. Als ze naar hardrock hadden geluisterd i.p.v. metal of gothic dan zouden ze een veel positievere kijk op de wereld hebben.  Bands als Accept, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Scorpions of Journey zijn vrolijke en positieve bands die niet hatelijke of negatieve gevoelens oproepen. Kijk maar naar bandfoto's van AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Status Quo of Motörhead allemaal van die blije en enthousiaste koppen. Niemand die naar dat soort bands luistert zal ook maar denken aan moorden. Helaas luisteren dat soort schietgrage gekken alleen maar naar bands als Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Cradle Of Filfth, Nevermore, Slipknot of The Haunted. Typisch geval is de moord op de gitarist van Pantera. Kijk het is wel erg voor die gozer maar een band als Pantera trekt vanwege hun hatelijke en morbide teksten wel van dat soort randdebielen aan. Bovendien was de schutter een Pantera fan schijnbaar was dat bedoeld als een soort compliment. Maar wat wil je ook met zulke negatieve en ongezellige muziek.

Het toppunt is natuurlijk die achterlijke klote-blackmetal. Ik kan me echt enorm ergeren aan al die moorden en brandstichtingen. Het is ook onbegrijpelijk dat er aandacht aan zulke muziek besteed wordt. Van mij mogen ze die blackmetal gasten in de fik steken in plaats van al die mooie kerken dan zijn we daar ook mooi van verlost. Wat me ook zo enorm frustreerd zijn al die nazi's die rondlopen in de metal. Vooral in de (uiteraard) blackmetal komen dat soort figuren vaak voor. Nazisme en de hele gedachtegoed die daar bijhoort heeft helemaal niets met heavy metal te maken. Net als al die paganistische bullshit dat daar bijhoort. Maar al dat negatieve gedoe in de metal komt natuurlijk voort uit de punk net als metal zelf. Punk is echt een broedplaats voor haatdragende, nihilistische en bekrompen denkwijzen. Je merkt ook met de komst van de trashmetal (wat door punk is beïnvloed en eigenlijk de eerste echte metal was) dat er voor het eerst dat soort duistere en depressieve invloeden in de heavy rock inslopen. Je merkt het ook bij Venom de eerste HM band die door punk was beïnvloed dat die een satanische en kwaadaardige houding had iets wat in de hardrockscene in die tijd nog zeer ongebruikelijk was. Wat dat betreft had Bon Jovi gelijk toen hij zei dat Venom de heavy metal een slechte naam gaf. Ik wil overigens niet zeggen dat mensen niet naar metal mogen luisteren dat moeten ze zelf weten. Het is wel goed om mensen op te wijzen dat metal zeer depressieve en boosaardige muziek is dat het heel erg je gemoedstoestand beïnvloed. Ik zie het als mijn plicht om metalfans erop te wijzen dat er veel positievere muziek is en dat je door het beluisteren van hardrock veel beter gaat voelen. Als je eenmaal gewend bent aan de positieve kracht van de hardrock dan wil je niet meer naar al die negatieve metalcrap luisteren.
